"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'."

ACTING

STORYTELLING THROUGH PERFORMANCE

Alicia Watson started acting in the sixth grade and fell in love with performing. She joined the drama club in middle and high school. Even the sport she chose--cheerleading--was performance based (smiling optimistically and motivating a crowd when the team is down 63-3 definitely qualifies as acting). Alicia continued acting through college, participating in various productions and improvisational troupes on campus.

After college and moving to Maryland, she joined a theatre production company and spent several years honing her skills in acting, writing, directing and stage management. Now, after a decade-long break, she has enthusiastically returned to the craft of acting. Her recent work includes short film, commercial and voiceover projects.

WRITING

STORYTELLING THROUGH THE PAGE

Alicia discovered her passion for creative writing in middle school and has since embraced her pen as a tool for storytelling. Her fiction, including stage plays like "Paper Idol" and "Whisper," showcases her imagination and ability to entertain audiences. In contrast, her non-fiction work, like her book Secret Donuts: A Journey to Getting Over Your Weight, Aligned with God and into Your Purpose, shares genuine experiences that foster connection and understanding among people. Through her branding projects, such as the "Clerestory" video below, she artfully blends these two realms to create impactful narratives that result in a cleanly communicated vision, visibility and sales.

For this promo, Alicia scripted, performed the VoiceOver, directed, filmed and edited. She also married the actor. Learn more about him.
